Is Vinicius sacrifice a factor in Mbappe's faster arrival?

It seems that all the conditions are indeed set within Real Madrid to welcome the French star Kylian Mbappe during the current summer transfer window.

One of the biggest issues that the Madrid media expected to arise upon Mbappe's arrival was the position he would play in!

Everyone knows that Kylian prefers to play as a left winger, which is the same position already occupied by the Brazilian Vinicius Junior, who is currently one of the standout stars at Real Madrid. Hence, the clash between them could have been significant.

However, this clash seems not to happen at all, as the problem has already been solved even before Mbappe's arrival! This became evident during Real Madrid's pre-season camp in the United States, where coach Carlo Ancelotti utilized Vinicius as a striker or in a more advanced attacking role away from the left flank.

Ancelotti's continuous talk about Vinicius being ready to play in this new position and his comfort in it conveys very positive feelings, as if the Brazilian star is prepared to adapt to his new position just to make room for Mbappe to play as the left winger. This sacrifice might be a crucial factor in finalizing the deal.
